Committee of 100 Establishes a China Earthquake Relief Fund Account
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 14, 2008) - Committee of 100 (C-100), an organization of prominent Chinese Americans, has set up an earthquake relief fund account for its members and the general public to make donations dedicated to victims of the recent earthquake in Sichuan, China.
The Committee of 100 has received numerous requests from concerned members and friends who would like to offer their support and aid in the wake of the disaster. Through the introduction of Committee of 100 members Leslie Tang Schilling, Carter Tseng and Nancy Yuan, Committee of 100 was able to establish a relief fund account in collaboration with Give2Asia, an affiliate of The Asia Foundation, with much experience in facilitating relief donations for natural disasters in Asia.
